Open Studios on 9 and 10 October, Jane Eyre at the Rose from the 13th, Howl'o'ween daily from 17 October and Tolworth fireworks on 1 November: 46 dates.
The Rose follows Three Men in a Boat with Jane Eyre from Tuesday 13 October, Chessington’s Howl’o’ween runs daily from 17 October, the borough’s fireworks are at Corinthian-Casuals in Tolworth on Sunday 1 November, and the Christmas market is due in the Ancient Market Place from Thursday 12 November. This weekend brings two days of open studios on Thames Street, a sleep-out in All Saints churchyard and bathtubs down St Mark’s Hill in Surbiton.
The everyday Ancient Market is closed after the fire there early on 6 October (our report). On 8 October the Christmas market’s own site still listed its usual dates.
Every entry below comes from the organiser’s own listing or the council’s events calendar, first read on 29 September 2026 and rechecked on 8 October, and each one links back so you can check before you set off. For places that are open whatever the month, see things to do in Kingston.
